Question: Well Why Not, What have I got to lose?

So I got a call from Noel on Thursday 25th October . . . come to the cricket club next week to discuss our end to end trip . . . What! I replied, I can't I'm away, but I am interested . . .

We met on Friday for out night out as usual . . . this was Noel's dialogue . . .

The hotels have been reserved, the mini bus has been booked, Bryan has ordered his exercise bike . . . and a support driver has been selected . . . Edwin Bates, the Snowdon Sherpa! . . . more about Ed later . . . we drive down on Friday 1st August, stop off about 10 miles from Lands End, cycle down to get our pictures taken, cycle 10 miles back to hotel and bed down for the night . . .

Who's on this tour . . . Noel, Bryan, Kim, Segs, Richard, me and driver Ed.

There is no option I thought, I would like to do it . . . So I'm going to . . .

Now, I have to be honest and share all the highs and lows of getting fit over the next 10 months . . . with anyone sad enough to read it.

So 14.5 stone, 5'4" and not very fit . . . here we go . . . 275 days to go!

Tips for the chubby one:
1/ Quit eating constant rubbish.
2/ Refrain from being the alcoholic that you nearly are.
3/ Get up off your chubby arse and do some serious exercise...regular.
