Day 7: Shrewsbury to Warrington . . . 68 miles

Good day but we got wet in the last half hour . . . visited the Anderton boat lift . . . a great picece of Victorian engineering.

We met Alistair and Jean, son and mother who are taking 20 days to do LeJog . . . the difference between us and them is that they had everything with them, including the kitchen sink . . . but they did send 25 kilos of luggage back home to Cambridge. We all felt very humble . . . we have a 6 ton truck carrying our cases . . . Well done to both of them.
